The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Quick hints

I finally have something positive about Skyrim to say! Well it's merely some of my knowledge I'd like to share for other beginners. Bear in mind that I am a newbie to this franchise and still have lots to learn myself so feel free to leave comments if you know of other ways to get ahead early. Being a huge RPG fan I enjoy the thrill of mundane tasks to level up so this little guide is not CHEATS, it's one way to make it in the land of Skyrim

I have no reccomendations for what type of fighter you should become. Thats totally your preference so feel free and go crazy

SKILLS TO FOCUS ON FIRST
 - Smithing (this allows you to create weapons and armors, making them stronger)
 - Enchanting ( placing magical abilities on weapons and armors making them more effective)
$$$ One main reason I reccomend these two to build on early is because they also can provide great sums of Gold $$$

So right away you will see a pretty epic intro where a Dragon attacks. After this area you are tasked to go to the town of Riverwood, though at this point you can explore to your heart's content, I reccomend visiting Riverwood and performing a deed that is a bit controversial, wicked, but fun!

Look for a wood elf who hangs around the lumber area next to the blacksmiths workshop. His Name is Faendal. He's in a little quarrel with another man in town named Sven. He requests you to deliver this fake letter to Carmilla so she ends up dispising Sven. Tell her the lie and Faendal thanks you and becomes the first of many followers you can obtain. Request he follow you, and backtrack out of town the way you entered and look for embershed mine not too far away. Enter here and run down the path triggering a boulder trap that will take Faendal out, or almost. Finish him off if he's still alive and rob him of his house key!

Now you have a place to stash stuff. Note that after sometime, I believe a month in Skyrim, the house returns to its original form so anything stashed may vanish, but not always. It's ok because a month is a long time and you won't need this place that long.

TRAVEL SOUTH EAST - RIFTEN
Armor up and ready to fight wolves, bears, bandits, and possibly other things along this long trip. If you didn't kill the first Dragon at the Whiterun western watch tower then the Dragons in game have no been released yet so you have nothing to fear there.

This next bit takes about twenty min or more but is worth it in the end. We're gonna raise the Speech Skill to 100 very quickly. Whether this is a glitch or not, I don't know but its basically the way you level it. Persuasion:
So they say this is a Glitch but oh well. Instead of trying to persuade all over the world, its easier to do it here repeatedly. Unlock the perks to allow you to sell anything to any merchant, and to allow you to invest, and to give all vendors 1000 extra selling gold.

I don't know if this works for everyone and or every console, but after giving all vendors the extra gold perk, invest 500 at the Riverwood trader and he will magically have 12,000 gold to buy your stuff with. I have started and played through four different save files of my own and this worked on ps3 everytime.

Now that we have that done with, you are free to go out and do as you please keeping these things in mind:
Animals slain in the wild: Pelts, pelts pelts, grab those pelts!
Soul Gems: stock pile them!

After you build up some pelts, use a tanning rack in a blacksmiths shop and create leather and leather strips and begin to make leather armors to build your smithing skill! Sell the armors for gold! or...

stock pile your creations and loot until your inventory is maxed of weapons and armors from bad guys because you can enchant them later.

Build up about ten thousand gold and now you can chain shop between towns, for example, like me, Riften, Faulkreth, White run, Riverwood. Check the traders for soul gems and pelts, the blacksmiths for leather, leatherstrips, and iron and steel ingots. Also Fahrengard at Dragonsreach in whiterun sells lots of Soul gems. By only filled soul gems for now and stock pile them. Now return to your blacksmith station and make armors out of all the stuff you bought. You should roughly break even on gold almost when selling everything back. Once you have a good amount of soul gems stashed, like 30 or 40, take a 30 or forty stocked weapons or armors and go to Dragonsreach to enchant them. Now they can be sold for alot more than they were worth before easily doubling your current Gold!

Also with a few perks in smithing unlocked, make sure all of your loot and armors created, are strengthed at the crafting table and sharpening wheels and they will be worth more!

So there you go, an easy way to get started in this world! One last hint for people like me that won't use sneak but want to gain a few levels: Raising the Sneak to 100!

Go to A cave south of Whiterun called White river watch. A blind man inside will ask who you area, lie to him and run past him into the cave and kill all bandits. Return to the blind man, undress completely for sneaking easier, and sneak into the wall behind him. Prop the ps3 controll up so the left joystick is slightly tilted forward so you sneak as fast as possible with the eye symbol opening. leave this for like 8 hours and your sneak will be maxed!
