We men have to look tough. It's a dog eat dog world and none of us want to appear weak, we need to hide it, and a tough looking photo can be great.. unless you aren't paying attention to your surroundings.. so let's take a gander at some of these failures
Looking tough like my brotha the Biebs!
You have a pretty intimidating bedroom, I am seriously terrified
Now lets not judge too quickly, he could be an expert at decapitations from a moving car..bed
Don't make fun of panda foo!
The new picture webster has under the definition of Creepy
That's right Gangsta, we sparkle bitches!
Guns don't kill people, people that use pink bathroom scrubs with guns kill people... and wear their skin
Dude your dad is naked. Dude, your dad. Is. Naked.
This was planned. I was in front of the next window bent over with a girly sigh and a sign saying badass pointed down at me, I promise
AND THE GRAND FINALE... THE MOST EPIC TOUGH GUY FAIL I HAVE EVER SEEN:
what's with his face? I think there's another one hidden somewhere we can't see..
Everyone knows I don't care for disney. I am not big on cartoons except for South Park and Family Guy but its that kinda of rauchy humor that cracks me up. I would never keep my kids (when and IF, I ever have any) from Disney of course, it's just never been my kind of thing. I will admit that if it weren't for SQUARE ENIX brining us kingdom hearts, I doubt I would have ever given it a chance in the first place. In fact those Disney fans that own or did own a PS2 before, that missed these games, you missed a great experience. Kingdom Hearts has the Disney Characters at their best and they mingle with Final Fantasy characters. The odd thing is, they took the FF world and made it like Disney, where characters meet from different games, and even Aries, from FF7, who is killed by Sephiroth, makes an appearance. So it's safe to say the FF timeline is broken up and has no meaning here but in all honesty.. The Kingdom Hearts story line is a jumbled mess and we are all wondering where the heck it's going now???
I loved the first two main stories, KH, and KH2. I played birth by sleep(psp) and didn't give a crap for it. This action rpgs are alot of fun, and the battle system is like Final Fantasy and Namco tales had a love child and it was badass. It's straight up run it swinging and throwing spells. You are also backed by Mickey's seconds in command, His Knight, Goofy, and his Mage, Donald. Fighting with these two is just so much fun. You could find yourself kicking the crap out of a huge fat creature and suddenly hear Donalds familiar wail as he charges across the screen on fire because a creature landed a fire spell on him!
What I want is for the series to just go back to Sora, Donald, and Goofy seeking King Mickey and Protecting the universe! That was a fun time and you actually travel to the Disney worlds and live through the films stories, but adding Sora Donald and Goofy into there. So what did you Disney fans miss out on then?
Sora, Donald and Goofy arrive in the Pridelands and help Simba over power Scar and save the pridelands. They arrive in Wonderland to help Alice out through her story. My personal Favs, are Arriving in Halloween town in both games to help Jack out, and also, Arriving in Port Royal to help fight off Barbossa!
So in short, Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2 were great games and the only Disney related thing I can get into myself. I really hope Kingdom Hearts 3D (3DS) will return the familiar characters. In fact I'd be happy with less Final Fantasy related stuff but there is one major problem. Disney is very protective of their characters and worlds and do not allow major changes or certain elements. This attributed to why KH story is so jumbled, but there's other aspects that were bad as well.
This was a surprising one for me. Don't get thrown off because of it being a foreign film, it's perfectly english but filmed outside the us. The acting is pretty good, some of the deaths aren't done that well, one in particular but overall this story will travel down one path making you think oh I've seen these before and then it 180s and becomes more of a thriller than a horror film. I enoyed this thoroughly! A great creepy fill to sit down with, not a gorefest, and not a sexfest to make up for bad writing. Just all around great scare!
It's strange that I feel like blogging about this subject but it's a subject we all have to deal with one way or another and it effects us all differently at certain points of our lives. I went through a huge fear of death as a kid around the time my aunt was killed just yards from where I lived in Seven Fields and it was very distressing. Now I make lots of jokes but if there is someone out there that reads this and it just makes them feel even an ounce better, I consider it a win in my column!
I think the general hope when our time comes is to go in our sleep peacefully and painlessly and that is totally understandable. Some people even like me, would even prefer to eventually see it coming like a cancer or something. Odd yes, but the fact is we'd like to know and that way prepare and I was on this myself but I have been so spiritual lately that I have had a change of heart and I really do have a way I hope I pass onto the next phase of existence.
I'm by no way a hero, yet I want to write characters based off myself as a hero. Maybe I have a god complex, maybe I love myself just a little bit too much? Probably, but the point is in real life, chances are I will never be a real hero. Maybe, but I do not plan on becoming a paramedic, a firefighter, a police officer, ect.. the real heroes of our world. Notice how I did not put superhero in there, because no one can pass on that if given the chance am I right? You'll never catch me in tights though.. they may be great for agility, and aerodynamics, but they are little suffocating of the good parts. If Clark Kent were actually real I'd bet he'd be icing his balls after a hard day of fighting Lex, I'm just saying.
Anywho, how do I want to die when my time comes. I want to take on death like jumping into that really cold lake. I don't want to slowly dip my foot in, and creep into up to my chest, and then just go under. No I want to run straight at it, like running into an explosion. I want to be here one second, gone the next. I would consider it a fail if I didn't run full force into the white pearly gates without stopping. That's right, I am so damn clumsy that the first I do on the otherside is walk into something, it just sounds right doesn't it?
How can I talk so causually about this thing? I don't know. I truly have nothing to be afraid of in death anymore. Something inside of me knows that this world cannot and is not the only thing out there. This is why I feel sorry for Athiests, not anger and hostility. How must it feel to truly believe this life, of up to 100 years only, is it. That beyond death lies nothing but a black abyss? I do believe its my faith in God that helps me overcome this fear but too many things have happened in my life that cannot be blind luck. Too many things have woven themselves together just so perfectly that everything I've done and everywhere I will be going and doing next will come together. They say faith changes you, well it certainly does. Now enough seriousness, this is weird. I need to go make fun of something before I vomit, bye
I finally have something positive about Skyrim to say! Well it's merely some of my knowledge I'd like to share for other beginners. Bear in mind that I am a newbie to this franchise and still have lots to learn myself so feel free to leave comments if you know of other ways to get ahead early. Being a huge RPG fan I enjoy the thrill of mundane tasks to level up so this little guide is not CHEATS, it's one way to make it in the land of Skyrim
I have no reccomendations for what type of fighter you should become. Thats totally your preference so feel free and go crazy
SKILLS TO FOCUS ON FIRST
- Smithing (this allows you to create weapons and armors, making them stronger)
- Enchanting ( placing magical abilities on weapons and armors making them more effective)
$$$ One main reason I reccomend these two to build on early is because they also can provide great sums of Gold $$$
So right away you will see a pretty epic intro where a Dragon attacks. After this area you are tasked to go to the town of Riverwood, though at this point you can explore to your heart's content, I reccomend visiting Riverwood and performing a deed that is a bit controversial, wicked, but fun!
Look for a wood elf who hangs around the lumber area next to the blacksmiths workshop. His Name is Faendal. He's in a little quarrel with another man in town named Sven. He requests you to deliver this fake letter to Carmilla so she ends up dispising Sven. Tell her the lie and Faendal thanks you and becomes the first of many followers you can obtain. Request he follow you, and backtrack out of town the way you entered and look for embershed mine not too far away. Enter here and run down the path triggering a boulder trap that will take Faendal out, or almost. Finish him off if he's still alive and rob him of his house key!
Now you have a place to stash stuff. Note that after sometime, I believe a month in Skyrim, the house returns to its original form so anything stashed may vanish, but not always. It's ok because a month is a long time and you won't need this place that long.
TRAVEL SOUTH EAST - RIFTEN
Armor up and ready to fight wolves, bears, bandits, and possibly other things along this long trip. If you didn't kill the first Dragon at the Whiterun western watch tower then the Dragons in game have no been released yet so you have nothing to fear there.
This next bit takes about twenty min or more but is worth it in the end. We're gonna raise the Speech Skill to 100 very quickly. Whether this is a glitch or not, I don't know but its basically the way you level it. Persuasion:
So they say this is a Glitch but oh well. Instead of trying to persuade all over the world, its easier to do it here repeatedly. Unlock the perks to allow you to sell anything to any merchant, and to allow you to invest, and to give all vendors 1000 extra selling gold.
I don't know if this works for everyone and or every console, but after giving all vendors the extra gold perk, invest 500 at the Riverwood trader and he will magically have 12,000 gold to buy your stuff with. I have started and played through four different save files of my own and this worked on ps3 everytime.
Now that we have that done with, you are free to go out and do as you please keeping these things in mind:
Animals slain in the wild: Pelts, pelts pelts, grab those pelts!
Soul Gems: stock pile them!
After you build up some pelts, use a tanning rack in a blacksmiths shop and create leather and leather strips and begin to make leather armors to build your smithing skill! Sell the armors for gold! or...
stock pile your creations and loot until your inventory is maxed of weapons and armors from bad guys because you can enchant them later.
Build up about ten thousand gold and now you can chain shop between towns, for example, like me, Riften, Faulkreth, White run, Riverwood. Check the traders for soul gems and pelts, the blacksmiths for leather, leatherstrips, and iron and steel ingots. Also Fahrengard at Dragonsreach in whiterun sells lots of Soul gems. By only filled soul gems for now and stock pile them. Now return to your blacksmith station and make armors out of all the stuff you bought. You should roughly break even on gold almost when selling everything back. Once you have a good amount of soul gems stashed, like 30 or 40, take a 30 or forty stocked weapons or armors and go to Dragonsreach to enchant them. Now they can be sold for alot more than they were worth before easily doubling your current Gold!
Also with a few perks in smithing unlocked, make sure all of your loot and armors created, are strengthed at the crafting table and sharpening wheels and they will be worth more!
So there you go, an easy way to get started in this world! One last hint for people like me that won't use sneak but want to gain a few levels: Raising the Sneak to 100!
Go to A cave south of Whiterun called White river watch. A blind man inside will ask who you area, lie to him and run past him into the cave and kill all bandits. Return to the blind man, undress completely for sneaking easier, and sneak into the wall behind him. Prop the ps3 controll up so the left joystick is slightly tilted forward so you sneak as fast as possible with the eye symbol opening. leave this for like 8 hours and your sneak will be maxed!
So I like to think I read the news more often than most people my age. I like to catch anything I can, mainly to make fun and jokes because that the only thing I can do, but there is a trend I have been seeing for a while now and it's time I voice my opinions.
The Death of Whitney Houston
So was anyone else aware that a 24 year old US soldier was killed by a roadside bomb sometime last week? I can't find out his name, where he was from, what exactly happened, but I can sure as shit find out every little detail of Whitneys death, even the scent of the bathtub water she took her fatal plunge into. Does anyone else find this horrific? Yes she was icon, a legend and though I wasn't really a fan, I acknowledge that talent of her calibur is very rare, but what happened in the end? She did drugs, which ruined her voice, and then she butchered a performance on a today show and it went downhill from there. If there was some freak accident that caused her to lose her voice then I'd be more come passionate for her depressions, but there is no excuse for someone who's very name will live on forever to become depressed over losing her gift because of her own fault. Now I am not judging her for having problems, being that famous is by no means easy, but it is also by no means private. Where was her family, friends, even the people who are around her everyday of her life? It was obvious she had a problem, and no one called her out on it? If I were a true fan I'd write to her if I was worried she was hurting herself. I read that she had a reality show recently that showed she was obviously abusing substances? I never watched or heard of it so I can't be sure about that. To all the people who watched that show though, I agree with Titus, you were all enablers. It's just like with Charlie Sheen. The minute we should worry about this guy who's obviously not just gone over the edge, but cleared it with a pole vault, we start cheering him on and even the crazy shit he says becomes slogans. Now we as this fucked up over privelaged country pay all the attention to someone who pretty much killed themselves, instead of the people dying every day so we can sit on our fat lazy asses and watch extreme couponing. Segway
Retarded reality
Yes extreme couponing and extreme clutter are two of the most popular tv shows on right now. What the fuck is wrong with us people that this is what entertains us, and don't get me started on Jersey Shore. As far as I am concerned that whole cast is such a waste of life that they need to figure their afterlives out, because heaven, hell, and purgatory are all shouting right now they want nothing to do with these people. It's sickening that we are entertaining ourselves with the outbursts of fallen celebs. These people need help like any other person and this is what happens.
The higher the climb...~
It truly is a long way to the top, and it's a much harsher fall for a person who has never seen the bottom to begin with. These famous people drowning their "sorrows" with drugs and alchohol do not know the meaning of the word "struggle" and no I am not jealous. I pray to and thank God everyday for where I am right now because I know in my heart that if I would have shot straight to the top, I wouldn't have God to thank for that. I probably wouldn't even acknowledge his existence so I am thankful for the struggles I have gone through because with the faith I have in him, nothing seems impossible and no matter how high I climb, I will never fear the fall, because I'll be caught, one way or another. RIP Whitney Houston, but you took the easy way out, and for that, there is no excuse. You will be sorely missed and you have left holes in alot of hearts
So it's been about four months or so since this game released and it still is not functioning on the playstation3 normally. Several patch attempts have been released to correct these errors but ultimately the game is still running terribly with large save files. I am officially ending my opinions on this game with this final blog on it.
I understand there will always be potential problems with a large game like this designed for PC and ported to a console but after Mr Howard's response about Skyrims PS3 issues, it all sounds like a bunch of bullshit. Bethesda knows that this game is not going to be fixed and now its time to own up to their big mess up. I was not a fan of this series going in, and I do think Skyrim is a great game, when it works anyway. I know that delaying the playstation release would have pissed off alot of playstation fans but they are already pissed off as it is now. Bethesda, you fucked up, end of story. You should have tested this game completely. You should have had at least two or three people on each console playing, exploring the map to 100% and completeing all the missions to see how the save files would hold up with such a large amount of information stored, but in the end, you were lazy and didn't care. I know people will still run out to the stores like their ass is catching fire to grab Elder Scrolls VI, if it ever comes, but I will not be one of them. This was inexcusable in my opinion. You make take credit for a great looking and fun playing game, but in the end, when it has problems running, shame on you.
In the words of Colin Moriarity, "Don't make excuses, make video games." If you can't port such a large game properly, then don't do it. Or maybe seperate the maps like Kingdoms of Amalur. Reckoning has a large map, but it's divided more than skyrim. It doesn't look as beautiful as skyrim does, but the fucking game plays. I've been involved with Amalur for two weeks now and I haven't even noticed the game even studder. I load Skyrim and if I play for more than two hours without lag or a slight freeze in the game, it'd be a fucking miracle. So PC, XBOX, fans can defend Bethesda all you want. What it comes down to in the end is if the game works great, and it does not. You don't see vehicle manufacturers selling poor running vehicles do you? Get your shit together.
I remember when they first announced this sequel, and I was standing firm on not getting excited for this because of how dissapointing the first game was. Then later on all the first impressions were coming in and I was liking very much what I was reading. Now I've played the game thoroughly and finished and I really enjoyed it!
The visuals were great and and just like the first game, the story is very deep. The story really gets confusing though but the central premise of this game is time travel, and you are litterally traveling back and fourth in time changing events which affect other events ect. Writing stories like this takes talent though and it worked over all. The cut scenes are amazing visually and very entertaining. Of course this has lots of them and that may turn some people off.
The battle system, the best thing in FFXIII, makes a return and the familiar action packed battles are still turn based at heart. In these two games you aren't simply deciding each characters actions, but you arrange your characters roles (classes) outside of battles and when the time comes to fight, you switch between your selections to either, heal and attack, attack and disable, disable and enhance, or any other combination you can think of. This loses some of the classic Final Fantasy feel to battles, but I can see tweaking this system and making it more classic like the older ones.
Gameplay has improved 100%. One of the major downfalls of the first game was the linearity. Always walking from point A to B, playing the game from beginning to end down one long straight and boring path. Not anymore. You unlock different areas and are free to bounce back and fourth and every area has side quests to do if you want to break from the main story. Most interesting, is closing the area gates. For example, in the main story towards the beginning there is a massive monster you must go and defeat but you have to do some other stuff first or else it will kill you. At the end of the game, with really tough characters, you can go back to that area and "close" the time gate essentially replaying the story events of that area. You can now kill that monster and in doing so, it leads to an alternate game ending. Of course you just reopen the gate and everything is right where you left off, nothing lost!
This game should have been Final Fantasy XIII. Everyone makes mistakes though, and the fact that they could have just moved on to finishing up 14, or even starting 15, they went and made a game based off of the fans reactions, square enix, you guys rock. In the end, my faith in Square Enix has been renewed all over again. They are so wonderfully talented over there and I look forward to all of their upcoming projects, FF related, or not!
